課程概述 |
1. 本課程適合未學過華語者（或學習華語時數每週未達 6 小時，且總時數未達 100 小時者）選修。
This course is designed for the beginners in Chinese Language, there’s no prerequisite for this course.
2. 本課程授課語言以中文為主，英文為輔。
This course will be conducted mainly in Chinese. English will be used only when referring to basic grammar principles and relevant key points.
3. 本課程使用的教材為：《實用視聽華語一》（第一課～第六課），盼學生能兼顧「聽說讀寫」四方面的語言能力，使學生不因語言不同而有障礙，並期望學生能透過課程，進一步了解華語及台灣文化。
This course uses the textbook “Practical Audio-Visual Chinese I” (~chapter 6) to help students acquire knowledge of spoken and written Chinese and to assist them in gaining proficiency and accuracy using these skills in real-life situations. The curriculum aims to help students develop the four skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing), which enable the learners to effectively communicate in daily conversations.

課程目標 |
期望完成課程後，學生能具備以下能力：
After finishing the course, students can
1. 熟悉漢語拼音。
Be familiar with Hanyu Pinyin.
2. 學生能讀、寫正體字，且聽、說兩項能力達到課程標準。
Be able to recognize and write traditional Chinese characters. Listening and speaking ability reach the level required.
3. 學生能學會得體地使用華語與他人溝通。
Use polite ways to respond to others under different circumstances, e.g., greet and introduce one another; discuss one another’s interests; be able to bargain with shopkeepers nicely; share their shopping experience with other friends after shopping. |

課程要求 |
1. 每次上課，請攜帶課本與講義。
Bring all the materials you are supposed to use when you come to class.
2. 上課時，請說中文，不說英文及其他非中文的語言。
Please use Chinese exclusively in class.
3. 上課時，請積極參與課程討論與活動，聽老師和同學的發言與討論。不該做其他和課程無關的事情。
Participating in classroom activities and class discussion is essential. Please do not engage in other things that are not related to the course during class hours.
4. 上課期間，若非本課程需要，請勿使用手機、電腦等電子產品，並請將手機轉為震動或靜音。
Please do not use cell phone, laptop, iPad and any electronic devices during the class (except asked by teacher for class activities). Phones must be set on silent mode during class time.
5. 上課時可以喝水、喝飲料，但是不能吃東西。
Water or other beverages are allowed, but no food is allowed in class.
6. 請尊重老師和同學。如果上課時，發生同學之間，或師生之間的爭執，或是上課時學生離題、發表歧視言行的情況，教師將視情況打斷學生發言，以維護課程順利進行。
Be respectful of each other in classroom. Topics discussed in class should be related to the course. If students argue with classmates or the teacher in class, which is effect on the class going on smoothly, the teacher will end the topic anytime. Or, if students talk too much to stray into the topic which is not related to the course, the teacher will also interrupt them anytime.
※ 以上規定列入平時成績，要是違反規定，經老師警告三次後，第四次開始扣分。每次每項扣1分。
All requirements mentioned above are related to the score under “Attendance and Performance”. Any violation will be warned by the teacher in person. Starting from the 4th offense, one point will be deducted each time for the violation of the class requirements. |
